ANLP blog 2.0

I want to start off by welcoming ANLP alumni and future alumni to the second edition of the ANLP blog! The 14th African Nutrition Leadership Programme will commence on the 8th of March 2016 and I cannot help but feel excited for the participant’s part. Ten days of intense growing and reflecting on old and new habits lies ahead.

After last year’s huge success and wonderful responses posted on the ANLP blog, we decided to keep it in the program. I am encouraging all alumni to follow the 2016 participant’s ANLP journey and also to reflect on your own leadership journey taking you back to your promised declaration.

To the 2016 participants – be brave, be open to change, let go of old ways and have fun!!

I challenge you with the following quote to lead from where you are!!

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.” John Quincy Adams

ANLP is an environment of Capacity building, Self discovery and a good experience sharing. It’s a climate of enhancing the capacity of individuals to make choices and to transform those choices into desired actions and outcomes.
ANLP creates a forum for networking, sharing information and inspiring Africans to participate in the nutrition life of the African continent. It also builds a sense of African community that is broader than individual countries. Very great experience indeed

Dear ANLP Colleagues, It is a delight to touch base with you even if for a few seconds. Ten days of fun and getting to do things together that you would probably never have the opportunity to do. Give it your all and the rewards would be immense. Enjoy your time together. I wish you all the best. Hugs to my good friends Jane Badham and Johann. Greetings from Rome.
